The children work in groups of four to carry out this experiment.
Equipment required:
1) Small plate
2) Egg cup
3) Water
Methodology
1) Half fill the egg cup with water.
2) Pour the water from the egg cup onto the small plate.
3) Place the plate on the window cell in the classroom and observe what happens over the course of the week.
4) Discuss with your group the findings of the experiment.
